Yale Football traveled to Bethlehem, PA to take on Lehigh University on Saturday, September 16th for a 12:30pm kickoff. By 5:00pm, Yale walked off the field with a dominating 56-28 win over Lehigh.
Kurt Rawlings threw for 308 yards and 4 touchdowns throughout the afternoon. Freshman running back, Zane Dudek led the team in rushing with 131 yards on just 9 carries, finding the end zone twice. Andrew Grinde and Deshawn Salter also punched in a touchdown each themselves. The receiving core for Yale was just as active, with Rawlings firing on all cylinders to all six receivers. Melvin Rouse (2), Christopher Williams-Lopez (1) and JP Shohfi (1) all found their way into the end zone for touchdowns respectively.
Yale takes on Cornell Saturday, September 23rd at 1:00pm for their first home game and conference matchup of the season. Cornell is coming off a loss at Delaware 41-14 last week.
